Choosing your motor’s charging-port side

This selection sets which side the discreet charging port sits on — a small choice now that makes recharging effortless later.

Your motor sits inside the top tube of the blind, and this selection determines where its small, discreet charging port will be located.

Making the right choice now ensures convenient access when it’s time to recharge — roughly every around six months, depending on usage.

How to choose your side

Stand inside your room and face the window, then consider the following for the easiest charging experience:

1

Closest power point

Choose the side of the window nearest to an available power outlet. This minimises the length of charging cable needed and makes recharging simpler.

2

Accessibility & obstructions

Look for anything that might block access to one side — furniture like a sofa, bed or tall cabinet, a wall in a corner, or other decorative items. Select the side that’s open and easiest to reach.

3

Multiple blinds together

If you have several blinds side by side in the same room, keep the charging-port side consistent for a uniform look and a predictable charging routine.

Example: if your power outlet is on the right side of the window and there’s no furniture in the way, selecting Right would be the most practical choice.

The charging port is designed to be subtle and is only used occasionally — but thoughtful placement makes maintaining your motorised blinds completely effortless.
