Coverlight blockout blinds suit the vast majority of windows — from a small bathroom pane to a wide living-room span. Three quick checks tell you whether yours is a fit, and which options to pick.

1 Is it within range?

Coverlight blinds are made to order to the millimetre. Manual blinds cover windows up to about 3 metres wide; the very widest go motorised, up to 4 metres. Something larger or an unusual shape? We build oversized to order — just ask.

Manual covers up to ~3m wide; wider windows use a motor. The configurator shows the exact limits for your chosen drive as you size your blind.

2 Inside or outside?

Two ways to mount — one of them fits almost any window

Whether your window has a deep reveal or none at all, there’s a mount for it.

Inside the recess

Inside mount

Sits neatly inside the window reveal for a tidy, built-in look. It needs clear depth in the recess — at least 64mm across the top for the headbox (or 74mm for larger blinds) and 26mm down the sides for the tracks. Our measuring guide walks you through it.

On the wall or architrave

Outside mount

Fixes to the wall or architrave and overlaps the opening — perfect for shallow recesses, tiled reveals, or windows with no depth at all. It also blocks the most light of any fit.

3 Any handles in the way?

Winders and handles are no problem

Coverlight suits standard windows of every kind — double-hung, sliding, awning, casement and more. If a handle or winder sits inside the recess, a forward roll leaves room behind the blind so everything still works, or an outside mount clears it entirely.
