Show Us Your Coverlight competition, terms and conditions

1. The promoter

The promoter is CoverUp Canvas Products (Aust) Pty Ltd (ABN 86 636 187 187) trading as Coverlight DIY of 10 Silkwood Rise, Carrum Downs VIC 3201 (“Coverlight DIY”, “we”, “us”).

2. The competition

This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry is judged on its merits against the criteria in clause 6.

3. Entry period

Entries open 9:00am AEST Monday 3 August 2026 and close 11:59pm AEDT Monday 2 November 2026. Entries received outside this period will not be judged.

4. Who can enter

Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 or over who have purchased a Coverlight DIY blind. Each entry must show a genuine Coverlight DIY blind installed in the entrant’s home or premises. Employees of the promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to win.

5. How to enter

Enter by either:

1. posting a review with at least one photo (up to three) of your installed Coverlight blind on the relevant product page at staging3.coverlight.au; or
2. submitting a short video of your installed Coverlight blind through the video entry form on the competition page.

Each approved review or video is one entry. You may enter more than once, a different window or blind each time, but each person can win no more than one prize. You may enter more than once where each entry shows a different window or installation. We moderate all entries before they are published or judged. We may decline an entry that does not show a genuine installed Coverlight blind, is offensive, infringes someone else’s rights, or is otherwise unsuitable, and our decision on moderation is final.

6. Judging

Entries are judged by a panel from Coverlight DIY and its marketing agency on: (a) the result shown, including how effectively the blind darkens or finishes the room; (b) the story the entry tells about the problem it solved; and (c) the overall quality of the photo or video. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner is selected within 14 days of the entry period closing.

7. The prize

One winner receives $500, taken at the winner’s choice as either Coverlight DIY store credit or cashback, with either option processed through the Coverlight DIY website. Up to ten runners up each receive a $25 Prezzee digital gift card, so the total prize pool is $750. Prizes are not transferable, and each person can win no more than one prize. If the winner cannot be contacted within 14 days of first notification, the judges may select a new winner from the remaining entries.

8. Reviewer reward, and a note on honesty

Every entrant whose entry is approved receives a 10% discount coupon for their next Coverlight DIY order, delivered by email. This reward is provided for leaving a review with a photo or video, regardless of whether the review is positive or negative. Reviews are published subject to our standard moderation and are never edited or declined because of a low rating. Published reviews from competition entrants are identified as incentivised.

9. Your content, our licence

By entering, you grant the promoter a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, adapt and publish your entry (including your photos, video and review text, with your first name and state) in its marketing, including on coverlight.au, in emails and in paid and organic social media. You retain ownership of your content. You may ask us to stop using your entry in new marketing at any time by emailing sales@coverlight.au.

10. What you promise about your entry

By entering, you confirm that: (a) you created the photos or video you submit and own the rights to them; (b) every identifiable person in your entry consents to appearing in it and to its use as described in clause 9; and (c) where a child appears in your entry, you are that child’s parent or guardian and you consent on their behalf.

11. Privacy

We collect entrants’ names, contact details and entries to run the competition and, where you win, to award the prize. Our handling of your information is covered by the Coverlight DIY privacy policy.

12. General

The promoter’s decisions on all matters relating to the competition are final. The promoter may vary these terms where required for reasons beyond its control, and will publish any change on this page. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta.
